  • In Spain, the poultry sector generates more than 12 million tons of manure.
  • Scarce surface area available and safe for waste storage, a problem that generates collection costs.
  • High energy consumption is required to guarantee maximum thermal comfort, light and air quality for the birds.
  • Low profit margins force farmers to optimize their production process.
  • Persistent increase in imports of chicken meat to the EU market and competitive disadvantage compared to Brazil and the United States, where production costs are lower.
